Katie Maura is an homage to Katie Morag McColl from Mairi Hedderwick’s wonderful children’s books. This little girl with her red curls and freckles made me fall in love with the Paola Reina dolls and she is my absolute favourite from the Amigas range. Of course, the real Katie Morag’s hair would never be this tidy, and she would not go anywhere without her wellies (sadly, I cannot make wellies…)

In this set she wears a knitted short-sleeved top with a lace flower appliqué on the front, and a colourful floral skirt.

She wears copper coloured lace-up shoes.

Her second outfit is a versatile denim mini dress with copper buttons on the front and an embroidered sunflower on the skirt. It can be worn with or without the slightly sparkly, grey leggings.

Both looks can be further styled with the little yellow knitted beret.

She arrives in her plain white cakebox, with no plastic waste in the packaging.
